Blue Cloud Holidays ("Blue Cloud Holidays," "we," "us," or "our") is a vacation home rental and property management agency authorized by Sharjah Tourism, operating in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you interact with us — including through our website, our booking platform at booking.bluecloudholidays.com, our social media pages and advertisements (including Meta/Facebook/Instagram lead forms), WhatsApp, phone, or in person.

By providing your personal data to us through any of these channels, you consent to the collection and use of that data as described in this Policy.

a) Information you provide to us

  • Contact details: full name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address.

  • Property owner inquiries: property location/community (e.g. Aljada, Al Mamsha, Al Zahia), property type, whether you are the owner or managing on someone's behalf, and preferred contact time — collected via Meta Instant Forms, our website, or direct inquiry.

  • Booking & guest details: full name, nationality, ID/passport or Emirates ID details, contact information, and payment details, where required for a reservation in compliance with UAE tourism and hospitality regulations.

  • Communications: records of calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and enquiries you send us.

b) Information collected automatically

  • Website usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies (see Section 6).

  • Advertising data: when you interact with our ads or submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the information you provided in that form with us (e.g. name, phone number, and your form answers). See Meta's own Data Policy for how they handle your data on their platforms.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

  • Respond to enquiries — calling or messaging you back after you submit a lead form or contact us, including for a free rental appraisal.

  • Property management services — managing bookings, guest check-in/check-out, cleaning, and maintenance coordination for owners who engage our services.

  • Bookings — processing and confirming vacation home reservations, identity verification as required by law, and payment processing.

  • Marketing & communications — sending updates, offers, or rental appraisal information via phone, WhatsApp, email, or social media, where you have consented.

  • Legal & regulatory compliance — meeting requirements of Sharjah Tourism and other UAE authorities, including guest registration where applicable.

  • Improving our services — analyzing enquiries and bookings to improve our offering and customer experience.

4. WhatsApp Communications

If you provide your WhatsApp number through our website, advertisements, or lead forms, you agree that Blue Cloud Holidays may contact you via WhatsApp regarding your enquiry, booking, or property management services, and occasional relevant offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying "STOP" or notifying us directly; we will still contact you regarding any active enquiry or booking.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who support our operations, such as cleaning, maintenance, payment processing, and customer relationship management (CRM) providers, under confidentiality obligations.

  • Sharjah Tourism and relevant UAE government authorities, where required for licensing, guest registration, or regulatory compliance.

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram), to the extent necessary to operate our advertising and lead generation campaigns, subject to Meta's own Data Policy.

  • Legal or governmental authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand site usage, and support advertising analytics (including Meta Pixel, where used). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including any legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements (for example, guest registration records may need to be retained for a period required by Sharjah Tourism regulations). Lead enquiries that do not convert into a customer relationship are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you;

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements;
